BID launches financial match-funding safety net for Westside businesses

Westside BID has launched an additional layer of financial support open to all businesses that reside in the district to help them recover from COVID-19.

A match-funding scheme has been provided which aims to support struggling businesses, following the financial strain that many have been facing as a direct result of the restrictions and new national lockdown.

The funding on a variety of investments, for example social distancing signage, safety equipment, publicity and social media campaigns to boost footfall, or whatever else the business may need.

Westside BID will provide up to 50% of the funding required to businesses whose applications are successful.

To apply, businesses need to complete an application form and send this to Mike Olley, Westside BID’s general manager by 28 February 2021.

The full criteria and application form can be downloaded here: click here

If you have any queries, or if you need a hard copy of the form sent to you, contact Luisa Huggins, the BID’s media manager, at luisa.huggins@westsidebid.co.uk.

Mike Olley said: “I am extremely pleased that the BID can support our members in this way.

“It has always been our main objective to help businesses to the best of our ability, and we will continue to do so even through the most challenging of times.

“We look forward to receiving application forms to see how we can support our businesses further.”
