Businesses Back Westside BID for Another Five-Year Term
Westside BID is pleased to confirm that businesses have voted in favour of renewing the Business Improvement District for a new five-year term, following the successful conclusion of the ballot process.
The result demonstrates strong support from the business community for the BID’s continued work in delivering vital services and improvements across the Westside area – including safety initiatives, destination marketing, events, and business engagement.
Marking the start of the BID’s fifth term, the renewed mandate enables Westside BID to build on its past successes and implement a bold new business plan from 2025 to 2030. The BID will remain focused on making Westside a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant destination for businesses, workers, visitors, and residents alike.
The Westside BID Chair Brian Hughes said:
“This positive result reflects the trust and confidence our members have in the BIDs work. We are excited to continue supporting our district by collaborating with other agencies across the city driving forward meaningful change.”
The new term will officially commence on the 28th July 2025.
