Early festive joy offered by one of Westside’s leading restaurants

Christmas has come early to lovers of fine dining in Birmingham and beyond.

The Bank Restaurant & Bar in Brindleyplace has launched its mouth-watering festive menus now to help dispel the Covid-19 gloom of the past 20 months.

The restaurant, which boasts classic and inspired seasonal cooking, brilliant cocktails and amazing steaks, held a special Christmas launch party on 8 November, hosted by general manager Amit Crozier.

Guests at the event were treated to a brass band and singers performing favourite Christmas carols such as Jingle Bells.

The Bank, which offers two all-weather terrace areas overlooking the canal as well as its indoor dining space, said it was extending its festive period this year to ensure visitors have time to experience the very best of the season.

Its range of Christmas menus are available from now right up until Sunday 9 January 2022, so guests have even longer to savour every bite or sip whether with friends, family or work colleagues.

The menus consist of a three-course festive lunch, a festive a la carte menu with a minimum of two courses, and a three or four-course festive party option.

Mains dishes across the menus range from sea bass and crispy duck to prime steaks and, of course, the traditional oven roast turkey with all the trimmings.

There is also a special five-course New Year’s Eve menu to help see out 2021.

In addition, festive cocktails have been added to the list including Xmas Tree Bramble and Gettin’ Figgy With It.
