Your chance to help colour-in a mural at Broadway Plaza for charity

Broadway Plaza is hosting a mass colour-in of a giant mural as part of the national One Great Day, raising money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The entertainment and leisure complex on Westside has created a space for a larger-than-life mural of Birmingham, and they want the general public to help them colour it in.

Creative visitors can take part in this artistic and fundraising event between 11am and 4pm this Saturday 25 September.

Natal Chapman, centre manager at Broadway Plaza, said: “We are delighted to be involved in the One Great Day charity initiative again this year.

“We aim for families to create fun-filled memories at this event whilst raising vital funds for these chil-dren’s charities.”

The event will also feature a team from Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and live musical perfor-mances.

Will Graves, regional fundraiser at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We believe there’s al-ways more we can do for our sick kids and families, but it is only through the kindness, generosity and hard work of our supporters and partners, like Broadway Plaza, that this is possible.

“Vital funds raised for our charity go towards funding ground-breaking research, state-of-the-art equip-ment and improvements to the hospital environment, to ensure we can offer patients the best experi-ence while with us.”
