Lille fans enjoy sunshine with Black Sabbath on Broad Street

It was only ever meant to be a quick balade (walk) up Broad Street to get their match tickets from Rosies.

But oh magnifique! Once Lille fans discovered the joys of Westside, there was nothing that could tear them away.

Hello Ozzy: Isabelle (left) and Armelle.

And they just loved posing for pictures on the world-famous Black Sabbath bench.

Let’s hope they remain happy for tonight’s first leg of the quarter final in the Europa Conference League versus Aston Villa.

We think they’re in for a Lille whipping. Geddit?

The Black Sabbath bench was recently restored in a Westside BID project funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, organised regionally by the West Midlands Combined Authority and Birmingham City Council.
