Instead of a sandwich in the office, why not try something different later this month – and improve your well-being at the same time.
Westside BID has organised a special free cookery demonstration which is taking place from 12.30pm to 2pm on Thursday 25 April at The Coconut Tree, a Sri Lankan restaurant in Gas Street.
The culinary experience is the latest in a series of well-being events organised by the BID for the benefit of its members.
The Hopper Experience event challenges participants to tap into their inner chef by making a ‘Hopper’, which is a traditional Sri Lankan delicacy consisting of a bowl-shaped pancake made with coconut milk and rice flour.
They are traditionally topped with a delicious blend of sweet herbs and spices to tickle your taste buds, although variations include eggs, vegetables or cheese.
It all promises to be an unforgettable lunch break filled with fun, food, and networking at The Coconut Tree.
So, make sure you don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and have a great time with friends old and new.
Luisa Huggins of Westside BID said: “This latest well-being activity is an exciting opportunity to engage in a community-based activity and learn something new at the same time. So, see you there!”
