Westside’s sizzling guide for freshers and returning students

Westside’s entertainment area is the perfect place to for freshers’ nights out, and so we’ve compiled a mini guide for new and returning students to the city.

Popworld Broke Wednesdays: a great night out for those who want to bop all night long. Birmingham party people come and dance and sing the night away, led by DJs pumping out nothing but the best tunes. Move, shake, bump and grind your way around this party palace!   • Saturday 23 September – JAY1 Live on the main stage performing chart-topping tunes like Loose, Mercedes and Your Mrs.
  • Wednesday 27 September – Tion Wayne LIVE! He’ll be performing global hits like Body, IDTK and his brand-new tune AMEN.
  • Thursday 28 September – Battle of The Halls! The BIGGEST bar crawl in Birmingham touches down at Pryzm.
  • Friday 29 September – FRESH Friday presents a 60″ TV giveaway.
  • Saturday 30 September – NOT3S Live on the main stage performing tunes like Butterflies, My Lover and Aladdin.

Velvet Music Rooms: the leading independent venue on Broad Street has a Bottomless Brunch available every day for tw0 hours for £30 per person.
