Where to enjoy fine food in Westside this Christmas

Unsure of where to dine while visiting the heart of Birmingham city centre over the festive season?

Have no fear! Westside Business Improvement District (BID), home to some of the city’s most loved pubs, restaurants and bars, will help make that decision for you.

The BID is putting together an e-guide outlining some of the places to visit in Birmingham’s entertainment capital over the Christmas period with family and friends.

Here are some of the festive offers available for people to enjoy over the coming weeks.

Grosvenor Casino:

Tickle your taste buds this festive season at the Grosvenor Casino on Broad Street. The venue has created a tasty Christmas menu, with enticing two-course meals starting from just £28.

The Alchemist:

Anyone eager to sample the ‘dark arts’ of dining is invited to head over to The Alchemist which is perched above the canal at The Water’s Edge in Brindleyplace. The restaurant and cocktail bar offers an unbeatable bottomless brunch option every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm, where diners can receive a brunch dish of their choice and boundless cocktails all for £38 per person.

Bistrot Pierre:

The French restaurant loves the Christmas period and has just launched its warming festive menus with effect from November 24. Bistrot Pierre, situated in a grade ll listed canal-side building in Gas Street, is offering dishes bursting with seasonal flavours.

Its Festive Party menu is available for groups of eight or more at just £25.95 for 3 courses, whether a get-together with colleagues, a Christmas catch-up with friends, or a much-loved family affair.

Frankie & Benny’s:

It’s that time of year again, so Frankie’s and Benny’s have a wide selection of festive dishes for people to enjoy over the Christmas period.

The family friendly Italian American restaurant which has an eatery at Broadway Plaza, offers two ‘merry’ meals for £18.99 and three ‘Christmassy’ courses for £22.99, as well as their signature ‘merry-maker’ cocktails. Euro Car Parks

If you’re driving to Westside over the festive season, you can park in Euro Car Parks, located at Fiveways Entertainment Centre Car Park B15 1DB. They provide affordable parking for all in the Westside district.

They also offer Season tickets available from £70 per month.

Public Transport

You can catch a series of buses to Westside which stop directly on broad street, some of which include the 23,24, X10 and X8.

The tram is also in full operation along Broad Street during the day and night.
