This was the 25th anniversary of the event in the city. Thousands took part in the Pride Parade, which began in Centenary Square in the heart of Westside.
Mike Olley, general manager of Westside BID, said: “What a great event and how proud we are that Birmingham Pride was launched in the heart of the city’s top entertainment district here on Westside.”
