EURO 24: our A-Z of Westside bars to watch the action (and how to get free beers!)

Euro 2024 is a golden, month-long opportunity for fans to quench their thirst after singing themselves hoarse with family or pals at venues with huge TV screens on Westside

England and Scotland are among 24 nations competing in Germany at the championships from Friday 14 June to Sunday 14 July.

Pre-book a visit to The Brasshouse on Broad Street on the day after each England game to receive a free pint. Those post-match dates are 17, 21 and 26 June.*

Meanwhile, across the road at Heidi’s après-ski bar, there will be confetti to ‘celebrate every goal and victory in style’ as well as ‘giveaways throughout the matches’.

And it’s first come, first served at JD Wetherspoon’s family friendly Broad Street pubs The Soloman Cutler (0121 631 8930), which has cheaper drinks offers from Monday to Wednesday, and The Figure of Eight (0121 633 0917). Children are welcome at both food-serving venues until 9pm daily.

Coyote Ugly at 260 Broad Street (0121 643 5090) has more than ten screens showing all 51 games in an 18+ ‘Fan Zone’ environment. There is ‘American style food, four-pint pitchers from £16 and two for £12 cocktails’. There’ll also be lots of dancing on the bar if England win!
