Westside BID teases city council over lack of horse-drawn vehicle signage

A horse-drawn hearse spotted on Broad Street has prompted Westside BID to post a mini-video that jovially teases Birmingham City Council across social media.

The video captured the hearse as it passed unhindered on Birmingham’s ‘golden mile’ on Monday.

This was accompanied by what sounded like a typewriter tapping out the following message:

“Dear Birmingham City Council,

“Thank you for our new road here at Broad Street.

“Now it’s all ready we have noticed you don’t allow cars into some parts.

“But can you tell us where horse-drawn vehicles are allowed to go please?

“The signage isn’t that clear. Thank you 😉”
