Hats & Heels celebrates International Women’s Day at Hilton Garden Inn on Westside

Westside BID has joined forces with the Hats & Heels Network for Ladies to celebrate International Women’s Day at the Hilton Garden Inn on 8 March.

Guests at the event which starts at 2.30pm can enjoy an afternoon tea of delicious cakes and sandwiches in comfort at the hotel while they listen to inspirational guest speakers.

Those lined up include Patricia White, chief executive of Suited for Success, and Lorraine Olley, founder of Hats & Heels.

Ms Olley said: “After two years away because of Covid, I am really excited that Hats & Heels networking events are back. And what better day to celebrate than International Women’s Day?

“Hats & Heels is proud to be partnered with Westside BID and the Hilton Garden Inn for this event. Women will enjoy afternoon tea, in the company of other inspiring women.

“I am particularly pleased to have Patricia White, from Suited for Success, as a guest speaker. She is a great advocate for supporting women back into the workplace through the charitable donation of office wear.

“The Hats & Heels Network for Ladies launched on International Women’s Day nine years ago, so it’s a very special day for us too.”

International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8 March aims to mark the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe.

Elaine Weir, Westside BID’s business liaison manager, said: “We are happy to support this event, and we are confident that it will be a great experience for all guests.

“The Hilton Garden Inn serve an incredible afternoon tea so attendees can be sure to have their pallets satisfied.”

The event at the hotel, which is located at 1 Brunswick Square in Brindleyplace, starts at 2:30pm and tickets are retailing from £14.95 per person.
