Pushkar Cocktail Bar & Dining held a showcase dinner to celebrate winning the West Midlands category of the British Curry Awards.
The restaurant’s founder Rai Singh, who is also a Westside BID director, invited top foodies and media to enjoy Pushkar’s new tasting menu along with complimentary drinks and cocktails on Wednesday 26 January.
The event, co-sponsored by premium spirits specialist Jatt Life, was met with great enthusiasm, and £500 was raised for local community charity LoveBrum.
Luisa Huggins, Westside BID’s media and communications manager, explained how pleased she was that Pushkar had won the award after struggling through multiple lockdowns.
She said: “We are incredibly proud of the determination that all Westside businesses have shown throughout Covid and it was a treat to attend Pushkar’s event.
“They truly deserve their award and we believe they will continue building on their successes. Westside BID will always be there to champion them.”
