It’s cocktail o’clock at next Westside well-being event

Release your inner Tom Cruise by trying your hand at making a fabulous cocktail on Westside!

The Hollywood legend starred in the 1988 hit movie Cocktail, and now Westside BID is inviting members to ‘shake up’ a delicious drink for themselves.

The Cocktail Making and Ramen Tasting Masterclass will be taking place at Japanese restaurant Ramen Don in Regency Wharf, off Broad Street, from 12.30 to 2.30pm on Thursday 25 April.

The fun and interactive event, which forms part of Westside’s wellbeing initiative, will involve participants learning how to craft delicious cocktails from expert mixologists, as well as trying a variety of mouth-watering ramen dishes. Ramen is a traditional Japanese noodle dish.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or a ramen enthusiast, this masterclass is perfect for anyone looking to try something new and meet new people.

“Come hungry and thirsty, as you’ll have the opportunity to taste and create your own cocktails and ramen dishes. Don’t miss out on this unique experience to elevate your bartending game!”

The cocktail making and ramen tasting is free to attend, but spaces are limited, so people are urged to make sure of a place and book now.

The event replaces ‘The Hopper Experience’ at The Coconut Tree Sri Lankan restaurant which was due to have taken place on the same date, but had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
