City women come to the fore to mark special day

Westside celebrated International Women’s Day in style with a glittering event at one of its leading restaurants.

More than 40 ladies from companies and hospitality venues across the Westside area gathered at Lulu Wild in Brindleyplace to celebrate the recognition of women globally.

A gift bag was presented to guests, which included a mini pot of honey locally produced and donated by Brindleyplace, and chocolate from Hilton Garden Inn, who also donated a room with breakfast for the raffle prize.
