Celebrate Spring with special concert at Brindleyplace

Spring will be very much in the air on Westside when beautiful blossom combines with the delightful sound of music.

Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG) make a welcome visit to Brindleyplace to present their Cherry Blossom Concert, in collaboration with Ikon Gallery.

The free concert, which is being staged for the third time, will take place in Oozells Square on Sunday 24 March, from 3pm to 4pm.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Much like our favourite cherry blossom, we are back with the highly anticipated third instalment of our serene Cherry Blossom Concert series, proudly in collaboration with Ikon.

“This will be an hour-long free event for all ages, inspired by nature, so why not bring a moment of calm to your Sunday lunchtime. Grab a drink from one of Brindleyplace’s local cafes, and feel free to drop in and out as you please!”

As an added bonus, BCMG is offering the chance of a small prize to anyone wearing a cherry blossom-inspired outfit who may be snapped on the day by one of their photographers present at the concert.

Westside BID previously indicated the arrival of the blossom in Oozells Square with a video and story on 26 February. Wetherspoon pubs ready to bloom on Broad Street, with spring blossom emerging on Oozells Square – Westside BID
