WOWs 2024: O Bar, Reflex and The Brasshouse scoop two trophies each at awards

Hundreds of staff from bars, clubs, pubs, theatres and other entertainment venues on Westside enjoyed a sparkling night out at the Wonders of Westside (WOWs) 2024 awards last night.

Just one of the teams who picked up awards last night.

Top pub The Brasshouse, favourite venue O Bar and popular club Reflex all scooped two trophies each at the black-tie awards ceremony held at the ICC on Sunday 28 January.

They were just a few of more than 30 winners announced during the WOWs 2024 evening that was compered by Heart FM DJ Ed James and Rochelle Anthony, runner up in last year’s series of BBC’s The Apprentice.

Hosts: Ed James and Rochelle Anthony.

And all guests were treated to an energetic performance on stage by Wannabe, a Spice Girls tribute band. You can watch our mini video of the evening here:

O Bar won trophies for Best Bar Team and The Best Door Team, The Brasshouse took home Best Pub and Best Pub Manager awards, and Reflex scooped Best Club Team and Best Bar Manager.

But one of the most-loved WOWs stars of the evening was the police dog who joined PC Wayne Truemann on stage to pick up the Westside’s Best Police Officer award.
