New film ‘Nope’ is ‘going to be brilliant’, says Westside’s Cineworld manager

Jamie Sherwood, the manager at Broad Street Cineworld, has discussed what he’s excited to see on screen in August, plus the latest films shown in July.

Nope is a film by director Jordan Peele that’s due out on 12 August, and the trailer is mysterious, with no intention of giving away the story.

Jamie said: “Nope is going to be brilliant. I know nothing, which is very exciting!”

Meanwhile, he said Thor: Love and Thunder was this month’s big release. This is the third Thor movie since Thor (2011).

Other July films include Minions: The Rise Of Gru (1 July), DC League of Super-Pets (29 July), The Railway Children Return (15 July), and When The Crawdads Sing (22 July) – produced by actress Reese Witherspoon.

Another film due out next month is Bullet Train (3 August).
