Mums and dads of young children will be thrilled to learn that Peppa Pig and her new animal friends have arrived on Westside.
The children’s favourite character is taking part in an underwater adventure at Sea Life Birmingham from this week until 2 June.
A spokesperson for Sea Life Birmingham said: “Giggle and snort with Peppa Pig at Sea Life Birmingham this spring. Bring your little piggies along on an aquatic adventure and follow the interactive trail around the aquarium.
“Explore this magical underwater world where visitors will be tasked with several activities, from spotting seahorses and crabs to counting starfish and learning how fast sharks can swim.
“There will also be fun workshops where little piggies can create ocean friendship bracelets and help make a jumbo jigsaw. And that’s not all…guests will also have the chance to take photos with Peppa Pig herself!”
The spokesperson explained that a visit to the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham also includes meeting the penguins, the UK’s only pair of Northern Sea otters, sharks, turtles and many varieties of fish.
She added: “It’s the perfect day out for the whole family!”
