Visitors to Ikon Gallery can add a colourful, sustainable touch to their festive celebrations with two creative workshops led by artist Priya Velusami on the Saturday 14th November.
The Upcycled Sari Bell Garland Workshop, running from 11am to 12.15pm, invites participants to transform reclaimed sari fabrics into a vibrant handmade decoration, perfect for bringing a little festive charm into the home.
Later, from 1pm to 3.30pm, the Upcycled Sari Wreath Workshop will give participants the chance to create their own 10-inch festive wreath using beautiful sari off-cuts that might otherwise end up in landfill.
Tickets cost £30 per workshop, with advance booking essential. Both workshops take place at Ikon Gallery.
