Westside BID’s Halloween Networking Event a Frightful Success

Birmingham’s business community embraced the Halloween spirit last week as Westside BID hosted its themed networking breakfast, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Brindleyplace

Held on the 29th October 2025, the event brought together professionals from across the city for a morning of networking, collaboration, and seasonal creativity. Guests enjoyed refreshments, while exchanging business cards and ideas in a relaxed, yet purposeful atmosphere.

A highlight of the morning was an insightful talk by Westside Wellness Consultant Harriette Luscombe, titled “Unmasking the Imposter: How to Spot & Banish the Ghosts of Self-Doubt.” Her presentation offered practical strategies for improving professional confidence and wellbeing, cleverly linking the Halloween theme to overcoming self-doubt in the workplace.

Media and Communications Manager Luisa Huggins said:

“We were delighted to see such an enthusiastic turnout from across the city’s professional community. Our aim was to provide an engaging platform for meaningful networking while adding a seasonal touch of creativity, and we are very pleased with the outcome.”

Details about Westside’s upcoming networking event will be shared in due course.
