Birmingham Light Festival 2026 Launches Open Call for Events & Offers

The Birmingham Light Festival is returning to the city centre from the 12th–15th February 2026, promising four days of illuminated installations, performances, and events.

Organisers have opened their Call for Events & Offers, inviting local organisations and venues to contribute to the festival programme. Submissions should respond to the theme of light, offering events or experiences that can be included in the official schedule.

The festival has proven a major draw in previous years. In 2024, it boosted city centre footfall by 71% and generated 182 pieces of media coverage, reaching an estimated 713 million people

Those interested in participating can submit an expression of interest via the festival’s Open Call.
