Award-winning American rock band Kings of Leon have chosen Westside to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of their stellar music career.
The band, made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, plus their cousin Matthew, have come a long way since forming in Nashville, USA, in 1999, selling more than 20 million albums and almost 40 million singles worldwide.
But not to rest on their laurels, Kings of Leon have now announced a world tour to coincide with the forthcoming release of their ninth album, Can We Please Have Fun.
The album is due out in May, with the band embarking on a 2024 world tour which includes several dates across the UK and Ireland in June and July, among them Utilita Arena Birmingham on 22 June.
Tickets for the tour, which sees Kings of Leon supported by special guests, The Vaccines, go on sale this Friday 1 March.

Caleb Followill, lead singer and guitarist with Kings of Leon, said: “When you have a band, there’s a bond like no other, and when you have family, you have a bond like no other. We have both of those things.
“I thought, if we put all our energy toward something, who is gonna stop us? Who can stop us except us?”
The new album is said to hark back to the band’s gritty origins. Added Caleb: “It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of. It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable.”
Since their debut in 2003 with Youth & Young Manhood, Kings of Leon has released eight albums prior to their latest offering due on 10 May this year.
The band has toured all over the world, amassing three Grammy Awards, three NME Awards, two BRITs along the way.
