Birmingham’s iconic Snobs nightclub is set to move to a new £4 million home on Broad Street later this month, marking a major change for one of the city’s best-known nightlife venues.
The club will open at 240 Broad Street on Thursday, 17 September, taking over three rooms across two floors at the former Sports Cafe and Players site. The building, which has been derelict for several years, is being transformed through a multi-million-pound investment.
The new venue will retain elements of Snobs’ identity, including its distinctive “wall of faces” and original signs, while introducing state-of-the-art lighting and Funktion-One and Martin Audio sound systems.
The move will also bring Snobs closer to Éimear’s Irish Pub, another venue operated by owners Nightscene Limited. Student night Vodbull will launch at the new club on opening night, while established club nights Rehab and Loaded will continue on Fridays and Saturdays.

“After years of searching, we’ve finally found a permanent home for Snobs – and this time
we’ve bought the whole building, creating a leisure experience that will change the landscape
of Birmingham nightlife. We really wanted to focus on the nightlife at our new permanent home, and I think that will be reflected in the final product.”
