Student Entrepreneurs Shine at Waltham International College Business Expo.

Waltham College located on Westside welcomed visitors to its annual Business Expo, showcasing a range of student-led enterprises and entrepreneurial talent.

The event provided students with the opportunity to present their businesses, share their experiences and demonstrate the skills they have developed through their studies and enterprise projects.

Staff and Directors from the Westside Business Improvement District attended the expo, meeting students, learning about their ventures and presenting certificates to award winners in recognition of their achievements.

Westside BID Director Rai Singh said:

“It was inspiring to meet so many ambitious young entrepreneurs and hear about the innovative businesses they have created. The talent, creativity and determination on display were truly impressive, and we were delighted to recognise their achievements.”

Business Liaision Manager Elaine Weir said:

“It has been a privilege to work alongside Waltham College and its students throughout the year and to see their confidence, skills and ambitions develop. The Business Expo was a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their creativity, determination and entrepreneurial spirit. Events like this help build valuable connections between education and the local business community, and I am delighted to support and celebrate the achievements of these talented young people.”

The expo highlighted the diversity of business ideas developed by students, ranging from retail and creative services and community-focused enterprises.

Muhammad Shahzib of Waltham International College said:

“The expo provided a fantastic platform for our students to showcase their hard work, entrepreneurial skills and business ideas. We are incredibly proud of what they have accomplished and grateful for the support shown by Westside BID.”
