Birmingham Rep has announced a wide-ranging new season spanning autumn 2026 through spring 2027, featuring major revivals, world premieres and festive family productions.
Highlights include a new Birmingham-set A Midsummer Night’s Dream (25th April – 24th May 2026), marking the directorial debut of Artistic Director Joe Murphy and Deputy Artistic Director Madeleine Kludje, alongside a major revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd (4th July – 9th August 2026).

The programme also sees the return of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (5th – 19th September 2026) and Twelve Angry Men (21st – 26th September 2026), plus two world premiere co-productions: Planet Omar (17th – 21st June 2026) and Chains (4 – 20 February 2027).

The festive season will feature three family shows: The Snowman (20th October – 1st November 2026), Peter Pan (18th November 2026 – 17th January 2027) and The Ugly Duckling (3rd December 2026 – 10th January 2027).
