Westside BID’s annual Poppy Appeal is now underway across the district, with the local business community and residents being encouraged to show their support for the Royal British Legion’s vital work.
The appeal is helping to raise awareness and funds for serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
Elaine Weir Westside BIDs official Poppy Organiser, is coordinating the appeal and ensuring poppy merchandise is distributed throughout the Westside area.
Elaine said:
“It’s lovely to see the Poppy Appeal taking shape across Westside again this year. We appreciate everyone who gets involved and supports the appeal in whatever way they can.”
