Westside Serves Up Family Fun and Foodie Experiences This Easter

As the Easter holidays approach, Westside is gearing up for a busy half term, with venues across the district rolling out family-friendly offers, seasonal menus and group experiences designed for a wide range of visitors.

From indulgent afternoon teas to interactive gaming, cinema outings and Caribbean-inspired dining, the district is a go-to destination for both families and social groups over the season.

At The Park Regis , Easter takes on a traditional twist with a themed afternoon tea offering available from 27th March to 12th April. A dedicated children’s version—priced at £12.95—features a selection of sweet treats including chocolate brownies, carrot cupcakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries, while adults can opt for a more expansive Easter afternoon tea at £27.95 per person.

Meanwhile, Boom Battle Bar, located on Broad Street, is focusing on entertainment with its “BOOM Bundles,” combining food, drinks and competitive gaming. Starting from £27.50 per person and available throughout the week, the packages are ideal for groups seeking a more interactive way to spend their leisure time.

For a more relaxed family outing, ODEON Luxe Broadway Plaza is offering its popular ODEON Kids screenings throughout the Easter break. These show family-friendly films at a reduced price, making it an affordable and enjoyable cinema experience for children and parents alike—perfect for a rainy day or a quieter break from the busy city atmosphere.

Turtle Bay located in Brindleyplace is also expanding its appeal during the holiday period, with a series of offers targeting both families and students. From the 1st April, the restaurant will introduce a new children’s menu alongside a “Kids Eat Free” promotion, positioning itself as a cost-effective option for family dining.

Over the Easter weekend itself, the focus shifts to group occasions, promoting its “More Plates, More Mates” concept—encouraging shared dining and longer, social meals. In addition, its student bottomless brunch, running until mid-May, remains a firm favourite.

Together, these offers highlight a broader trend across Westside, where venues are increasingly blending food, drink and entertainment to create memorable experiences for all. With something for everyone—from family-friendly treats and cinema trips to interactive games and lively dining—Westside is the place to be this Easter.

Whether you’re looking to treat the kids, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a long weekend out, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate the season.
