A note on Boris Johnson’s badly faked sincerity and nonsense apologies

As the Conservative government hurtles towards more ridicule, Westside business leader MIKE OLLEY explains just how stupid the prime minister’s apology sounds

Sorry. May I take this opportunity to offer you a most sincere apology, I am truly sorry.

I shouldn’t have done it and goodness me I deeply regret my actions and hope you can somehow forgive me.

Just for clarity I’m not sure why I am apologising. But I guess it’s because everyone does nowadays.

Watch Olley’s Oracle vlog here:

But an apology is without value unless it is accompanied with a gift or a sincere desire to rectify matters.

Therefore, my gift to you is … a famous recent winner of Channel 4’s Come Dine with Me, Phil Oldershaw and his singing dog Dylan.

A bit of fun (you will need to have watched the video by this point!).

The show must go on. Of course. And we did, we really have tried, but our show in Westside and across the hospitality sector had to stop for many months.

If you guys are going to party whilst the nation knuckles down and does what you tell us is right, don’t further insult us once you are found out with your badly faked sincerity and nonsense apologies.

Do you really think you can fool us, Mr Johnson?
