Final Full Week to Vote in Westside BID Ballot – Make Your Voice Count

This week marks the final full week of the Westside BID ballot, with just 10 days left until the voting deadline on Thursday 3rd July 2025 at 5:00 PM. Businesses still have time to make their voices heard and help shape the future of the Westside district.

The response so far has been overwhelmingly positive, with many local businesses showing support of another five years of investment, safety, cleanliness, and vibrancy. If you’re a levy-paying business and haven’t yet submitted your ballot, now is the time to act.

Ballot Replacement Deadline Approaching

If your business hasn’t received its ballot paper, there is still time to request a replacement. The cut-off to request a replacement ballot paper is 10 am on Friday 27th June 2025.

To arrange a ballot replacement paper, contact:

Over the past five years, Westside BID has delivered substantial improvements to the area, from cleaner streets and increased safety to enhanced marketing services and successful events. These initiatives have helped to create a more attractive and dynamic environment for businesses, their staff, visitors and residents.

Voting is simple and takes less than a minute. Locate your bright yellow C5 envelope, which contains your ballot paper and a prepaid brown return envelope. Mark your decision, seal the envelope, and return it by post.

If you’ve received multiple envelopes, you are eligible to submit more than one vote. Each must be completed and returned individually.

Acting General Manager Nasim Akhtar said:
“Thank you to those of you who have voted so far, with just days left to vote, I encourage every eligible business to have their say and help us continue building a safer, cleaner, engaged, vibrant and a collaborative Westside for the next five years.”
