Westside BID has released the full schedule for when children can meet and greet their favourite characters at the Family Fun Day being held at Broadway Plaza this Saturday.
More than 500 guests are expected after booking free spaces at the event which runs from 10am to 4pm. The schedule for the appearance of various characters is as follows:
- Mickey and Minnie Mouse – 10 to 11am
- Bluey – 11.05am to 12.05pm
- Code and JJ from Cocomelon – 12.10 to 1.10pm
- Spiderman and friends (including Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Ghost Sppider and Black Panther) – 1.15 to 2.15pm
- Peppa Pig – 2.20 to 3.20pm
- Chase, Ryder and Marchall from Paw Patrol – 3.30 to 4.30pm
Luisa Huggins, communications manager at Westside BID, said: “We’re thrilled to have received confirmation from all these characters for their timed appearances on the day. There will be plenty of opportunities for children to meet their favourite character and grab a selfie.”
The Family Fun Day will include lots of activities including free face painting, balloon modeling, glitter tattoos and ‘Bubbleologist’, while there will be a small soft play area to keep younger children entertained.
There will also be food and refreshments for people to buy, including on-site ice cream stalls in anticipation of a warm summer day.
