Exciting time travel play due to land at The Rep

Birmingham-born actor Tyrone Huggins will be the star in To Move In Time at The Rep later this month.

To Move in Time is a dizzying monologue which will see Birmingham-born Tyrone Huggins as an unnamed protagonist who speculates playfully about what he’d do if he were able to travel backwards and forwards in time.

From fantasies of changing the present, to obsessions with everyday events in the past, To Move In Time concerns itself with questions of value and priority. What matters, what needs to be cared for and what can be changed?

It’s an obsessive stream of consciousness that is both tangled and contradictory, combining playwright Tim Etchells’ intricate text with Huggins’ powerful acting to walk a line between comic absurdity and melancholia.

The play is on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 May, the only UK dates for the production by the Forced Entertainment theatre company this year.

Tickets for To Move in Time are on sale now from £12, and can be booked here or by calling 0121 236 4455.
