Qavali presented with WOWs award for ‘most luxurious restaurant’

Staff at leading Persian restaurant Qavali were celebrating today after finally receiving their Wonders of Westside (WOW) award for being the areas ‘most luxurious restaurant’.

The venue was announced the winner of the special award at the WOWs awards ceremony in January, and Elaine Weir, business liaison manager at Westside BID, presented them with their trophy this week.

Elaine handed the award over to Joseph D Ferrao, the general manager of Qavali, and said: “They were all overjoyed to receive their award.”

Gez Manton, who has recently dined with top council contacts at the restaurant, said: “Qavali really is an absolutely luxurious restaurant, with amazingly good food.”

The full list of WOWs winners can be found in our story on the presentation evening here.
