Westside BID to launch wellbeing hub with Coaches for Change

A new ‘wellbeing hub’ is to be launched here on Westside BID’s website later this week.

The special section will contain content from Coaches For Change, an organisation that has been working with Westside BID for the last few months on a series of personal fitness and wellbeing events.

Harriette Luscombe and Jamie Cullen co-founded Coaches For Change in spring 2023, with the aim of helping individuals and organisations make positive changes.

Harriet is now going to start a regular blog that will regularly appear on the new wellbeing hub.

Harriett, an experienced yoga teacher, said: “I’m super passionate about helping people make their lives and businesses better!

“Not only is this vital for individual mental health and employee productivity but it is also about prioritising what makes life worth living.

“I’m really excited to be sharing my expertise with Westside BID, and hope to help as many people in the district as possible.”

Jamie Cullen, a former athlete, said: “I understand the dedication it takes to stay fit. And due to serious injury, I also understand the determination and patience it takes to regain fitness and trust in your body.

“Over the years I have developed a training philosophy that can be coached to anyone looking to achieve their fitness and health goals.

“I’m passionate about sharing my approach and knowledge with people recovering from injury, returning to fitness, or looking to shake up their existing training regime.”

Harriet explained that Coaches For Change uses positive psychology to help people make informed wellbeing solutions. She says this can help to:

  • reduce stress
  • tackle anxiety
  • combat burnout
  • develop resilience
  • build confidence
  • create a work-life balance
  • become fitter and stronger, and
  • improve communication skills.

Jamie added that the personal fitness side of Coaches For Change specialises in supporting people to:

  • return to exercise from injury
  • create adaptable, on-the-go workouts
  • building strength and muscle mass
  • create fitness targets
  • training for specific events, and
  • meeting health goals, including weight loss.

Luisa Huggins, marketing manager at Westside BID, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Coaches For Change and look forward to helping everyone across Westside to improve their fitness and wellbeing.”
