Make your own Christmas wreaths and festive baubles at The Canal House

Don’t miss your chance to get into the Christmas spirit by booking a space at a festive wreath-making night in the Pergola at The Canal House this coming Monday.

Guests at the special event will craft their own botanical Christmas wreath with natural, dried seasonal foliage, helped by the skills of a local florist.

A spokesperson for The Canal House said: “Guests will get everything they need to create their perfect handmade decoration, ready to hang in their home throughout the festive season.”

The event from 6.30 to 8.30pm on Monday 27 Novemebr is priced at £55 a person. This includes the workshop, a selection of bar nibbles and either a glass of wine or a bottle of Peroni Red.

The same venue is also holding a baubles and lunch event when guests can get creative by painting their own festive design on a Christmas bauble, ready to hang on the tree.

This lunch is running from 12 noon to 2pm both on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 December and is priced at £20 per person, which include a dish from The Canal House lunch menu, plus a bauble and painting equipment.

The spokesperson added: “Give your Christmas decorations a personal touch this year by booking now to join us in the winter Pergola, it’s always merry and bright!”

The Canal House is at 12 Bridge Street and you can book spaces on the wreath-making evening here, and the baubles and lunch event here.
