Enjoy making festive decorations at Westside’s Baubles and Brunch event

A popular Westside venue is getting into the Christmas spirit early – by offering visitors the chance to try their creative hands at making a festive bauble.

Westside BID is once again teaming up with Coaches for Change to invite participants a fun time at the Baubles and Brunch event.

The festive treat, which takes place at The Canal House in Bridge Street on Thursday 9 November, will allow guests to exercise their creativity by designing and decorating a bauble just in time for Christmas.

The event, which runs from 12pm until 2pm., is also aimed at helping to deliver positivity and well-being support through Coaches for Change.

Attendees will gather in The Canal House’s newest addition – the Pergola – which the bar and restaurant describes as one of the city’s most atmospheric winter venues.

Set up earlier this month, the Pergola offers live music, festive tipples and delicious dining.

Guests at the bauble-making event on 9 November will be able to sample the finest food and drink available at The Canal House.

The event form parts of Westside BID’s ‘Be kind to your mind’ initiative which features complimentary virtual workout classes once a week, followed by an in-person event at the end of every month.

The first in-person event saw more a dozen people gather at the Legoland Discovery Centre in King Edwards Road for a mindful workshop, which received a positive feedback from all attendees.

You can book a place at the baubles and brunch event here.
