Broad Street Cineworld manager ‘blown away’ by Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick is keeping cinema audiences “on the edge of their seats”, according to Jamie Sherwood, the general manager Cineworld Broad Street.

Jamie was discussing the new Tom Cruise film with our roving video reporter Danielle Robinson, also known as the assistant media and communications manager at Westside BID.

Jamie said: “This one blew me away. Incredible. So much better than the original – much more in line with the Mission Impossible style of story.”

As for actor Tom Cruise, Jamie has nothing but praise, adding: “I’ve got a lot of respect for him, and he just gets better and better.”
