The WOWs awards 2022 have been postponed

The Wonders of Westside awards due to take place on 30 January have been postponed because of the impact of the latest Covid-19 infections.

The popular awards – otherwise known as the WOWs – honour the best nightlife venues and staff in and around Birmingham’s ‘golden mile’.

Luisa Huggins, media manager at Westside BID, said: “Regrettably, based on member feedback, we have made the difficult decision to postpone WOWs 2022.

“This has been largely due to the uncertainty and effects of the current wave of the pandemic, and individual member circumstances that have been communicated to the BID.

“We hope to hold the Wows on an alternative date in the near future and we will inform everyone when that is being rearranged.”

Anyone who has purchased tickets for WOWs 2022 should contact business liaison manager Elaine Weir at elaine.weir@westsidebid.co.uk for a refund.
