ITV Central News: Westside praises students’ nightclub boycott over ‘needle spiking’ fears

Mike Olley, the general manager of Westside BID, has praised students for the way they have made people even more aware of the risks of ‘needle spiking’.

Mr Olley appeared on ITV Central News last night (Thursday) in a report on the students’ boycott of nightclubs in a bid to highlight the issue.

He said: “I have no doubt that the way in which students have stood out to support this will resonate throughout the industry. It will ensure that we are sharper and more focused on what we do.”
