Our latest ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ video shows Birmingham foodie Joanne sampling the menu at The Soloman Cutler pub on Broad Street.
The Wetherspoons pub is just one of many venues on Westside that are taking part in the government-funded scheme which aims to encourage people back to the city as lockdown restrictions ease.
It enables diners to 50% off their meals and non-alcoholic drinks when they eat at any time on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays until the end of August, up to a maximum of £10 per person.
The video shows Joanne sampling a tasty vegan pizza and fries which cost her only £6!
Luisa Huggins, media manager at Westside BID, said: “This is the third video we have produced, and I’m extremely pleased with the positive responses we’ve had.
“We are continuously seeing footfall increasing within the district and I think the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme plays a big part in this.”
Luke Mannion, general manager of The Soloman Cutler, said: “The ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme is a great way to help encourage visitors to our venues and boost the economy.”

If this young lady can do it I’m sure the rest of us can too! We all have to do our bit to contribute in restoring the economy. Every £6 counts!!
